Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) / Developmental Dyspraxia

Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), also known as Developmental Dyspraxia, is characterized as a deficit in coordination, planning and learning of movements. The symptoms can be observed both in whole body movements, such as poor balance, and in finer movements, such as problems with handwriting and using a knife and fork. About 5-6% of school-aged children are diagnosed with DCD.
